Made from top quality, kiln-dried maple strips, the butcher block top is another excellent choice. The solid laminated maple top resists damage by sharp tools and solid blows, yet harmless to precision machined parts and dies. This top is ideal for tool and die work, electrical wiring, fabric cutting, industrial art or office work. It offers maximum shock absorption where sensitive instruments are used. The butcher block top is 1.75-inches thick.
Plastic Laminate Top
Constructed of melamine laminate in a gray scrim satin finish, the plastic laminate top is suitable for any application. The non-conductive surface is ideal for electronics assembly or repair and service on component parts. The plastic laminate top is 1.75-inches thick.
Shop Top
The shop top is the preferred work surface for industry use. The top and bottom feature 3/8-inch thick, extremely hard, custom board that's sanded and sealed. The core consists of 45 pound density particle board with edge bands made from clean lumber stock. The shop top is 1.5-inches thick.
